Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders

Deafness Forum acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, community, sea, and waters where we live and work. We pay respect to elders past, present and future and value the contributions Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make in our society. We acknowledge the challenge for Indigenous leaders and families to overcome the unacceptably high levels of ear health issues among first Australians. We support programs that aim to Close The Gap by addressing era and hearing health and welbeing.

Healthinfonet.ecu.edu.au This excellent website also including EarInfoNet.ecu.edu.au contains a wealth of resources material and published papers on ATSI ear health.
